Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Head of SHEQ
  • Carry out period inspections and audits to identify observations for improvement and good practice in regards to Environmental and Sustainable topics.  Share those across the business
  • Advise on the drawing up and implementation of Environmental / Sustainable plans and build them into the safe system of work
  • Participate in SHEQ committee / joint consultation meetings which affect the works force
  • Promote and lead environmental / sustainability training programmes
  • Compile Environmental and Sustainability data reports with recommendations to prevent a reoccurrence
  • Keep up to date with new legislation, codes of practice and other guidance to supplied by the Head of SHEQ
  • Ensure that the management are supplied with the necessary Environmental and Sustainability information to maintain good practice to modern day standards and industry best practice
  • Attend pre contract meetings as required
  • Attend meetings as required by the Head of SHEQ
  • Carry out creation, delivery and distribution of induction training, TBT and any other associated training.
  • Assist in the management of positive intervention and near miss reporting
  • Assist in SHEQ campaigns
  • Provide assistance to the business on behalf of the Head of SHEQ on all Environmental & Sustainability matters
