Instalcom are looking for a Project Engineering Manager to join our team for a project we have in the Reading area.
Purpose of the role:
To ensure the department resources efficiently projects with a MEICA content and that the work is carried out in a cost efficient manner and in accordance with the contract programme and specifications.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Resource allocation scheduling of Project Engineers.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager on Department budget control procedures for projects and progress against programme.
Assistance to Project Engineers.
Enforcement and Monitoring of Instalcom’s Integrated Management System.
Ensure safe system of work and Instalcom’s Safety Policy are practiced.
Assistance to the Engineering Manager as requested.
Improvement to the Department’s efficiency through system development.
Management of Project Engineers.
Management of MEICA Projects.
Motivation of staff.
Communication at all levels regarding progress of projects.
Identification of staff requirements.
Reporting to senior management on the status of projects.
Any other duties which may reasonable be required by management.
HNC (Construction related).
Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of MEICA, Commissioning and Construction activities.
Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card – Visitor – Yellow

Clean driving licence
Crane Appointed Person

The remuneration package for this role is competitive and will depend on the skills/ experience of the candidate
